CSES Module 3 (2006–2011) was chaired by Gábor Tóka (Central European University) and focused on:
“Electoral Choices and Meaningful Alternatives”
Core research questions included:
- Do voters perceive clear ideological and policy differences between political parties?
- How do electoral institutions shape the number and distinctiveness of viable party choices?
- How do perceived choices impact voter satisfaction with the democratic process?
